We are a small family of Sheepadoodle lovers! We fell in love with this breed a few years ago and cannot get enough of how absolutely adorable they are. My love for our four legged friends began well before I could even walk. Dogs have been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember and I can’t imagine a life without them in it. We all have that one dog that is “The dog”. The one that comes into our world and completes us when we need them the most, a companion. They are the best in everyway and in our eyes no other dog will ever compare. This was my Avatar. He was the most amazing Malamute a person could ever have the pleasure of knowing. And he had my entire heart. I never imagined I could have another companion like him. As time went by, I realized Avatar was the perfect dog for me when I needed him to be. And though the pain of loosing him will never leave, I decided there was a dog out there that would be the one I need during this part of my life. The search began and this is how Nya became a part of my family. This also began my obsession with the Sheepadoodle!
I have never been able to resist an adorable puppy face and Sheepadoodles certainly have that. There are some qualities I was looking for, when searching for a new puppy to bring into my home. I wanted a low to non-shedding dog, one that was good with kids and other animals, and had exceptional instincts. My husband wanted a smaller dog and I wanted a larger dog. Sheepadoodles met everything on our list!
After spending countless hours searching for the perfect puppy we found our girl Nymeria (Nya). In the Sheepadoodle world a standard size is considered to be over 50 pounds and a mini is under that. Nya did end up toping out at 50 pounds but without all her fur she is slender and mostly all legs. When setting up our breeding program we wanted to focus on providing a dog that was small enough to easily take in the car, yet large enough to provide some protection and comfort for those looking for a companion. Nya has truly become a sweet and loving part of our family and she makes every day worth living. Nya retired in 2023.
Enter Remmington (Remmy). A 31 pound, extremely affectionate, full of life little guy. He is exceptionally smart, has a strong desire to please, and really just wants to be loved by everyone. He has clear genetics through Embark as well as A+ hips and elbows. Remmy lives the good life in Washington with his forever family and will be retiring in 2024.
Kloe is our 24 pound snuggle-bug that likes to keep us fully aware that things are going on and we need to pay attention. She is an absolute cutie and super soft! She is considered a micromini at 24 pounds. Kloe had her first litters in 2021. Kloe had her retirement litter in Feb. 2024.
Maverick is our up-and-coming new stud! His first litter was with Kloe (Kloe's retirement litter). Mave is a full poodle and weighs in at 13 pounds. He is my little side-kick! I just love his so much! Maverick loves all dogs and especially loves all toys. He is almost always found with Gabby, as they are best friends. Maverick is fully tested through Embark, OFA's, and Pennhips.
Apollo is also one of our studs. He was a Kloe and Remmy puppy that we kept. He is fully tested and produced absolutely amazing puppies in 2023 with Daisy and Holly. Be on the lookout for puppies from Apollo and Daisy again in 2024!
Gabby is a full Old English Sheepdog. She is fully papered and health tested. She was a first-time momma with F1B reverse puppies in 2023.
Some of our future mommas include Shelby (who had her first litter in 2023), Daisy (who also had her first litter in 2023), Cookie (2024-25), Bailey (2025). Also, be on the lookout in 2025 for our Havanese and Havadoodles! We also have some exciting future momma's coming in 2025-26!
